Dr Mumtaz Hussain has considerable experience within the field of plastic surgery during his NHS career of 20 years, including various facets of cosmetic surgery, hand surgery, lower limb/hand trauma reconstruction as well as dealing with all aspects of skin cancer surgery. He had plastic surgery training in Ireland and London. He has been an FRCS (Plast) since 2009, successfully completed his training and experience accredited by the Postgraduate Medical Education and Training Board UK and GMC UK. He has been on the Specialist Register of the GMC UK since June 2011.

Dr Hussain is a fully qualified and an accredited plastic surgeon with extensive experience in the field of Plastic/Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery. His enthusiasm for plastic surgery emerged while working as general surgical registrar. Following completion of his basic surgical training in General Surgery, he passed his Fellowship examination from Glasgow UK in 2009. He initiated his plastic surgery training in Ireland in 1998 with subsequent relocation to London for further training. He passed the FRCS (Plast) exam in March 2009 and successfully received his training and experience accredited by the Postgraduate Medical Education and Training Board UK as well as the GMC UK.
